Olivia is an editor, fiction writer, and professional bird nerd. A native of Virginia, she enjoys beautiful, twisting hikes and long summer days, most of which she spends with binoculars pressed to her eyes. When she's not cataloguing the various birds she's seen, she spends her time thinking up bizarre new worlds for her fiction writing. She has a fascination with the fantastical, and her favorite stories include Ursula K Le Guin's Earthsea series, N.K. Jemisin's Broken Earth Trilogy, V.E. Schwab's Vicious, Neil Gaiman's Coraline, and anything out of Studio Ghibli.

A recent graduate from the College of William and Mary, Olivia's short stories have been published in Landing Zone Magazine, and she won first place in the 2021 Glenwood Clark Prize in Fiction.
